Refund Policy

SmartAI Portal is a review and recommendation site. We do not sell software directly — products you discover here are purchased from the vendor (e.g., Helium 10, Tidio, Omnisend). This page explains how refunds work for those products, how to handle a complaint with our editorial team, and what we will and will not do.
1. We do not collect payment
SmartAI Portal does not charge readers for access to the catalog, reviews, or any other content. We do not process payments. We do not hold customer funds. When you click a "Get Deal" or affiliate link and purchase a product, the transaction is between you and the vendor — not us.
2. Refunds for products we recommend
Each vendor sets and enforces its own refund policy. Before purchasing, we recommend you review the vendor's refund terms directly on their site. The refund terms summarized in our reviews reflect what the vendor advertised at the time of writing — these can change without notice.
Refunds for vendor purchases must be requested directly from the vendor. SmartAI Portal cannot issue a refund for a product you bought through an affiliate link — only the vendor that received your payment can do that.
How to request a refund from the vendor
- Find the vendor's refund/cancellation page — typically in their support center or account settings. Most reputable SaaS vendors have a "Cancel" or "Request refund" workflow inside the user dashboard.
- Contact vendor support with your account email and order number. Reference the refund window stated on the vendor's terms (most are 7–30 days from purchase).
- If the vendor does not respond or denies an eligible refund, contact your payment provider (credit card issuer, PayPal) to dispute the charge. They have their own dispute mechanisms separate from the vendor.
3. Editorial complaints — what we WILL do
If you bought a product based on our review and the experience materially differed from what we reported, we want to hear from you. Email support@smartaiportal.com with:
- Which review you read
- What specifically diverged from our description (a feature missing, pricing higher than reported, support unresponsive, etc.)
- Date of your purchase (so we can check whether vendor terms changed after our review was published)
We commit to:
- Acknowledge your email within 7 business days.
- Investigate the discrepancy — re-test or re-verify the affected claim.
- Update or correct the review within 14 business days if your complaint is valid. The correction is logged on the affected page with a date.
- If the issue is severe (vendor practices have materially changed for the worse), we will remove the affiliate link and downgrade or de-list the tool.
4. What we WILL NOT do
- Refund money on behalf of a vendor. We do not have access to vendor billing systems. The vendor must process refunds.
- Compensate you for vendor losses. SmartAI Portal does not take liability for vendor pricing changes, service outages, or feature deprecations after our review was published.
- Advocate on your behalf with the vendor beyond what's covered above. We are an independent review site, not a customer-service intermediary.
5. Affiliate commissions and your refund
If you purchase through one of our affiliate links and later receive a refund from the vendor, the affiliate commission is also reversed by the vendor's affiliate network — we do not "keep" a commission on a refunded purchase. This is standard across affiliate programs (Impact Radius, Helium 10 Direct, etc.).
6. Disputes
For any unresolved dispute, contact support@smartaiportal.com. We aim to resolve all reader concerns within 30 days. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, you retain all rights available under Vietnamese consumer protection law (Luật Bảo vệ quyền lợi người tiêu dùng) and any applicable jurisdiction.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy as our affiliate partnerships and vendor relationships evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective" date at the top of this page. We recommend re-reading this policy annually if you make purchases via our links regularly.
